KYBELLA® is The First and Only FDA-approved injectable drug that reduces submental fullness. Submental fullness, sometimes referred to as “double chin,” is a common, yet under-treated facial esthetic condition. It can detract from an otherwise balanced and harmonious facial appearance – leading to an older or heavier look.*
You and your Nurse Injector will customize your KYBELLA® treatment regimen, including how many treatments you need, based on your desired chin profile. Most patients require 2-4 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart.*
The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, KYBELLA® causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.* A complimentary consultation is required to further discuss if KYBELLA® is right for you.

About Submental Fullness
Patients asking about their submental fullness may, at times, refer to it as their “double chin.” It is a common, yet under-treated facial aesthetic condition that can:
Detract from an otherwise balanced and harmonious facial appearance (1)
Lead to an older and heavier look (2)
Impact a broad range of adults, including both women and men
Be caused by aging, genetics and/or weight gain (3)
According to a 2015 survey by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), 67% of consumers are bothered by submental fullness—nearly as many as those bothered by lines and wrinkles around the eyes (69%). (4)
